Within the second day of the Final Conference of the IV Project Olimp Competition for Professional Project Management (Project Olympus-2017), which was held at the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation on November 22 and 23, a series of round tables were held on the most topical issues of professional management of the project activity.

I would like to highlight the following round tables:

  1. "Leaders and technologies of large-scale changes". The adviser of the head of the Analytical Center Pavel Shestopalov conducted. The participants discussed real cases from the practice of government bodies and organizations carrying out large-scale transformational reforms, and also tried to answer several questions arising during the implementation of large-scale, strategic changes that require, first of all, changes in people's behavior and the transition to a new level in the development of organizations. As a result, a list of working approaches and tools was developed that will allow to successfully implement the planned changes.
  2. "Models of competences and assessment of professional competence of participants in the project activity". Conducted by the President of the National Project Management Association SOVNET Alexander Tovb. The participants discussed the basic models of professional competence and certification: IPMA / SOVNET, PMI, MSC RASHiGS, PM Standard. Of particular interest to the participants of the round table, which caused discussion of issues related to the creation of a common ecosystem, which would unite different approaches to the competence model.
  3. "Best practices first-hand." Moderator - Chairman of the Board of the Association "KM-Alliance" Oleg Lavrov. Within the framework of the event, a brief review of the use of management methodology and tools in project activities was conducted to achieve the best results. The participants were told about the use of experienced technologies.
  4. "Flexible approaches in state projects: success stories, risks, regulation and prospects". The roundtable was moderated by the Managing Partner of ScramTrek, Ivan Dubrovin.
